Ladies and gentleman, there are only 11 days until Halloween so we need to act quickly! Luckily for me I went into Gordmans and came out with everything I needed. Including candy for the trick-or-treaters. Last year I forgot to get candy until the day of so of course only the MOST expensive candy was left. My neighborhood kids were probably so happy with the $20 premium candy they were getting. Sorry kids, not this year.
FIRST OF ALL THIS MUG. The inside says “If you got it haunt it”. Excuse me while I’m basic, but I literally cannot. SO CUTE. I also picked up these adorable decorations. I have one rule when it comes to decorating for Halloween, no spider decorations allowed. I don’t care if they’re a part of the holiday, sure they’re scary and spooky… blah blah blah… NO. I don’t want real spiders to get the impression that they’re allowed to hang in my living room too.
I’m at that sad age where my friends aren’t having Halloween parties and I don’t have any kids to go trick-or-treating with so my only chance to dress up is at work. Unless you’re having a Halloween party… In that case, can I come? I digress. I wanted to find something I could wear as my costume, but also wear again so I picked up this Jessica Simpson sweatsuit and decided to be a plastic surgery patient. First of all, these sweats are so perfectly comfy so I’ll be wearing them all winter long. Secondly, I’ll probably be getting face lift by the time I’m 40 so might as well practice.
