I’ve said it once, and I’ll say it again – I’m not a fan of sweaters. They’re just not cute and have the tendency to look frumpy. This winter I have been on the search for cute ones that you’ll actually WANT to wear (not just wear for warmth). These sweaters from Magnolia Boutique are adorable, feminine and dare I say sexy. *gasp*
I also had the privilege to connect with another Indy based photographer, Faith Blackwell Photography. Let me tell you FAITH IS AMAZING! She captures amazing images, and made me feel so comfortable. She has the ability to completely change the mood of a photo just by changing her perspective. She’s so talented at capturing shots that I went through 5 outfits in just over one hour, AND she turned Yats (pictures will be on my next post) into a fun photoshoot background. View her work using the contact information below. She specializes in head shots and images for professionals, but you will see through her images that she has the eye for anything!
- I’d like to point out that the pants I’m wearing with the green sweater are actually yoga pants. I’m really focusing on making the gym a priority so this way I’m already half dressed for it after work.
- The pants I’m wearing with the maroon sweater are high-wasted, to add a little more class to the open back. Don’t get me wrong, I’d wear it with regular jeans too it just all depends on the situation.
- Keep your bra in mind! Whatever part of your bra that’s going to show (if it must) make it cute. I love shoulders, so I didn’t want a bra strap to be a distraction. For the backless sweater, I made sure my bra had a thin back to “hide” behind the tie.
Thank you again Faith for collaborating and for all of the amazing photos! Also, thank you to The Best Chocolate in Town for letting us use your gorgeous chocolates as a background! Um… If you live near downtown Indy you MUST check them out. I’m surprised I wasn’t drooling in any of these shots…
