Online shopping has turned into dating. You never really know what you’re going to get. You make the first purchase and cross your fingers hoping for the best. Sometimes you meet Mr. Charming and sometimes you meet Mr. D Bag. Well, rest assured I’m going to save the day aka your dollars! Welcome to Retail Rehab – you find the online boutique, I purchase the items and rate the quality. I’ll waste my money so you can feel more confident purchasing online. I know, I know… You’re welcome!
First up, Urban Og. They key with this online retailer is to carefully read the reviews and item description. Last year I purchased a pair of gorgeous, over the knee brown boots. The problem? I didn’t listen to the review and water proof them prior to wearing. Of course, I pulled them on and strutted them straight into a puddle. Needless to say, they got a little spotty but I still rocked them all winter long. The point being, listen to the people who purchased before you. Finally, read what the material is made out of and zoom in on the pictures, you can tell when something isn’t the highest quality. I’ve purchased four items from this boutique and I’ve liked three (which is better odds than my dating ratio). The skirt below is from Urban Og and is my FAVORITE SKIRT EVER.

The pattern on this skirt is fun, yet flattering. Tip: when doing
patterns, always pick a vertical one.

The material of this skirt contains Spandex, so it clings to
curves and doesn’t drape like a shower curtain.

The pattern on the skirt is a lot, so I kept my jewelry minimal. Just a bracelet
and earrings so my skirt got all the attention.

If you like the skirt, wait until I show you the shoes on my next blog – I fell in love. Screw men, I love shoes.

P.S. Do you like the new blog look? Included with the update, I’m officially just www.fASHionatelyMe.com. I am a little geeked out having my own domain. So now, you can more easily tell your friends about my blog www.fASHionatelyMe.com. That’s all you have to remember. 🙂
