I just moved in to a new house and it has been a whirlwind of painting, cleaning and renovations. FINALLY after painting almost every wall, door, and baseboard I am finally ready to start having people over! I’m so excited to finally host gatherings, and I’m super excited to share with you a game that I’ll be playing at my house warming party later this month.

First stop, Market District to stock up on supplies and at the top of my list is Diet Coke®. If you live near Carmel, Indiana you must stop by this store! Any store where I can get a facial, tackle my grocery list and drop off my dry cleaning is a win for this busy girl.

Okay, back to my Diet Coke.I love the new Share a Song Share a Song campaign Coca-Cola is doing. Every can has a song lyric on it, so of course my game involves that. Before dinner, place all Diet Cokes in a container and have everyone gather around. I placed mine on the kitchen table in this adorable tray. Each person goes to grab their drink for dinner, but before they can get their dinner plate, they have to sing or hum the song that’s on their can. The first person to guess their song, is up next!

One of my favorite things to do when setting up for a party is try to make every drink and food item a decor. So I made a mini beverage bar for the Diet Coke when we weren’t using it for playing the game.

My family and I practiced this over the weekend, and let me tell you it caused a lot of laughs. Not everyone in my family is vocally blessed, luckily I had Shazaam downloaded on my phone (available on iPhone, Android, iPod and other devices) to help me figure out just what song being sung. Such great memories!

Would you be able to think of the songs the lyrics on these Diet Coke cans belong to when you’re hangry and ready to get your food plate?

If you like it, share it!

    This would be a fun little game to do at a party. I love how easy it would be to set up with much prep. 🙂 Sometimes you just want to be relaxed and have fun without with extra work. {client}
