The first time I wore this scarf, a guy asked if he should sing the pledge of allegiance to me. Funny, but no. If there is one fashion lesson I’ve learned, it’s that if a guy doesn’t like it or makes fun of it, it’s probably incredibly fashionable! A picture on Pinterest inspired this look, I thought it was brilliant to have two open shirts – I know, incredibly simple but it seemingly changed my world. 🙂 So put your hand on your heart, remove your hat and enjoy this look.

I would also like to take a moment to say thank you to the men and women fighting to keep our country safe and protected! We shouldn’t need a holiday or an American flag inspired outfit to show our gratitude for our heros. My aunt once told me that any time she sees someone in the Armed Forces she thanks them and pays for their meal. It’s an easy gesture since they’re laying down their life for us. It’s definitely challenged me to better show my appreciation.
